AMERICA'S FAVORITE PROTEIN DRINK!
When MUSCLE MILK was first introduced, CytoSport scientists
attempted to emulate one of nature's most anabolic, complete, and
balanced foods: human mother's milk. MUSCLE MILK broke the mold,
creating a new category of protein supplements while setting a new
standard for both taste and performance. As a result, muscle milk
has become America's favorite protein drink.
But the science of human metabolism is never static; our
understanding of its complexity is expanding everyday. Recently the
Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC) published a report
that updated America's Nutritional goals. Cytosport scientists have
evaluated the report and have updated MUSCLE MILK to keep pace with
these new developments.
No matter what you ultimate goal may be building muscle mass or
sculpting a toned, muscular physique-controlling caloric intake and
specific physical activity go hand-in-hand with managing your total
weight. When it comes to defining weight control, calories do
count. Most Americans need to reduce the number of calories they
consume. Since lipids or fats contain approximately twice the
caloric energy carbs, minimizing the total fat content in MUSCLE
MILK-while maintaining the overall fat-burning benefits of
LEANLIPIDS-helps to accomplish this goal.

Muscle MilkReviewed by Charles F. Wilkes, 2010-03-04
This is a great tasting protien supplement. I like the orange cream best.
Doesn't mix well & bad aftertasteReviewed by M. Philips, 2010-02-27
I purchased the chocolate flavor. Despite stirring in vigorously and shaking it also in a jar - 2 different methods of testing it for how well it mixes -- it was still clumpy despite the claims that it mixes well. I found the chocolate taste okay mixed with water, but it does have a lingering aftertaste which I find unpleasant.
Better than the hype!Reviewed by Alexander Collins, 2010-02-19
I've tried many and this one definitely is heads and shoulders
above the rest. Not for the hard core athletes but for the serious
builders who want to gain the healthy, natural way.
Tastes great; I've always tried the chocolate or the vanilla and
while both are excellent, I prefer the vanilla since it can be
mixed up with a bit more ingredients for some interesting
flavours.
Also, it produces no side effects like some of the other brands
I've tried and has no lactose, yet it tastes as close to a real
milkshake as you'd expect.
I don't use it as often as recommended by the manufacturer and
don't think anyone should but it is indeed perfect for use before
bed. I personally use it immediately after working out and that
works fine.
If you have not yet tried it, stop hesitating and get one. You
won't regret it.
Lots of good stuff in this, and some not so good stuff tooReviewed by D. Lee, 2010-02-17
So I bought this stuff to supplement my nutritional needs as a
triathlete. I've enjoyed Muscle Milk pre-mixed in a container that
I bought from my local store, but this was my first try at the
powder. I was trying to save some money but I think I'll go back to
a more natural product. The container says to mix in two scoops,
and the scooper in the container is HUGE, about the size of 1 1/2
shot glasses! But I did just as the thing said to do. There are two
things I really dislike about Muscle Milk: With two scoops, it
tasted strange and I got some bad intestinal gas. After cutting
back to one scoop I didn't have the gas problem but it still tasted
odd. After reading the label closely I found that it has artificial
sweetener in it. I would prefer natural, unprocessed sugar instead.
I'm really careful about what goes into my body and I won't be
buying this stuff unless they start using real sugar. As an athlete
my body can process sugar just fine, but artificial, chemical, and
processed items have no place for me.

I purchased this a while ago and was very happy with the flavor. It is a nice source of protein after a work out
